Ken Pustelnik, the original drummer of the band, has now formed a new lineup. The songs featured are all Groundhogs favourites from their extensive back catalogue.

The music featured are well-known classics by great composers such as, Cole Porter, Lennon & McCartney, George Harrison and Kurt Will.

The music will feature popular songs of the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s plus poetry and the odd bit of rock n’ roll. This eclectic evening of music is even intermingled with madrigals to give an olde worlde unique touch.

8216: The Moors

21st November – The Globe

Tara Arts bring their own production of The Moors to the Globe theatre. It tells the story of two refugees from Africa who come to London to find Shakespeare.

The two refugees find themselves on stage and they start performing with their own distinct African style and bring Shakespeare to life. But in the wings immigration officials are threatening to destroy their performance and reveal their true identities.

The play is in five comedic acts, and brings together the three iconic black characters from Shakespeare’s plays: Aaron, Othello and the Prince of Morocco but in a more contemporary way.

The play is set in the present day, and is an everyday story of love, ambition, friendship all in a context of a refugee crisis in the UK. The whole play and its ten characters are played by Tonderai Munyevu and a co-actor billed as The Two Gents Production.
